One of the last of the MGM greats. She was one of the last of the "Old Hollywood" bunch of actors and actresses. Along with Marilyn Monroe, Marlon Brando, Humphrey Bogart, Grace Kelly, just to name a few, Elizabeth Taylor was from "that" era- the era in which we all looked up to. It's sad to see the last of an era die. We all know there will never be anybody quite like those people, especially Elizabeth. She was gorgeous, even at her age of 79. She had a successful perfume, White Diamonds, which I didn't care for myself, but would have bought it just to have as a memory.
Elizabeth Taylor, for those who do not know, was best known for her seven divorces, two Academy Awards, and being close friends with Michael Jackson. The world saw Elizabeth Taylor grow up. She started acting as a young child and didn't stop until the late 90's. It was Elizabeth Taylor who made me want purple contacts.
