What’s funny about life is that it hits you from all directions
Like an earthquake on its crooked, destructive path
Once all stops shaking, you crawl out of hiding, brush the debris off, and get on with your life
And you think to yourself,
“I survived that? I can overcome anything! It can’t get any worse than this.”
HA!
That’s when the aftershock hits you even harder than the first quake
And the effects are more devastating
